Are house window shutters easy to maintain?

They are low maintenance. A light dust with a microfibre cloth or duster is usually enough, with occasional wiping using a slightly damp cloth. Because shutters are solid and fitted, they do not trap pet hair or absorb smells like some fabrics can.
