How do I clean and maintain shutter blinds?

By 1gdfs4 on April 23, 2026

Shutter blinds are very low maintenance. For day-to-day care, wipe the louvres with a dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth to remove dust. For a deeper clean, use a mild soap solution and wipe along each slat. Avoid soaking wooden shutters with water. ABS polymer or waterproof shutter blinds can be wiped down more freely. The Oxford Shutter Company also offers a shutter maintenance service if you need any adjustments or repairs over time.
